A horizontal band of felt ripples, 11’ high, runs the length of this main lobby wall. It continues around the corner, and dies into the wall at the far end of the adjoining elevator wall. Elegant in form, clean in line, this feature made of vertical folds ranging from 1” to 4” wide in natural tones gives a horizontal thrust to this interior even as it is made up of verticals.

Facing a bank of windows with a view onto Lake Ontario, the felt reflects, at once, landscape and built environment.
