FELT Striation gives this built-in bench the look of stacked felt layers lining the lobby/gallery at CUNY Law School. The design team at KPF was inspired to create visual references to landscape in this space where a wall of glass separates outside from inside. FELT Striations follow the curves of the bench in layers that appear rock-like on this meandering low wall. Areas of flat felt cover the wall opposite the bench in vertical planes of green and grey.
