MADE design, Toronto

A series of quilts designed and made by Kathryn Walter is an on-going project that began with this display in the project window at MADE design in 2009. 

These quilts make use of remnants, off-cuts and roll ends collected over years of producing FELT products and projects. They have no planned design, rather like painting, the artist arranges the pieces in relation to one another, making choices of form and colour, over the course of building the whole.
